Qufu Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is a Grade III Class A TCM hospital. Founded in 1987, it has become a comprehensive TCM hospital, integrating medical treatment, prevention, teaching, scientific research, health care and rehabilitation.It covers an area of 49 acres, with 45,000 square meters of business rooms, 516 open beds, nearly 400,000 outpatients and 30,000 discharged patients per year.

It currently has 753 employees, 25 clinical departments, 13 medical technology departments, 16 comprehensive TCM treatment rooms, and 9 key departments at the national, provincial and municipal levels. Among them, the acupuncture department is the“specialty of acupuncture physiotherapy and rehabilitation in rural medical institutions”approved by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine，and the department of orthopedics, oncology and pediatrics are the key TCM specialties in Shandong Province.
